Lifebeat Timekeeper collects information necessary to provide and improve our service:

• Authentication Data: Email address, password hash, and authentication tokens (via Supabase)
• User Profile: Display name, preferences, and account settings
• Payment Information: Billing details and subscription status (processed via Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers)
• Usage Data: Metronome settings, presets, drum sequencer patterns, and interaction logs
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Cookies: Session tokens and consent preferences stored in your browser

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: Authenticate users, manage accounts, and provide core metronome and sequencer functionality
• Payment Processing: Process subscriptions and billing through Stripe
• Personalization: Save your presets, settings, and preferences
• Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance. We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) as our analytics processor. With your consent to Analytics cookies it records product-usage events and, where enabled, masked session replays. Without that consent we only count anonymous usage events, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device: PostHog derives a daily identifier from a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, which it cannot reverse and which changes every day. Those counts are never tied to an account, and session replays never run without consent.
• Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Communication: Send service updates, support responses, and important notices

Cookie categories we use:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share, rent, or sell your data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

• Consent Records: Stored in your browser's localStorage until you clear your cookies
