1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using Lifebeat Timekeeper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Lifebeat ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Subscription Terms
Lifebeat Timekeeper Pro is a paid subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis.
- A 14-day free trial is offered for new subscribers. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
- After the trial, your chosen payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing period.
- Prices are shown in your local currency where supported (DKK, EUR or USD) and include applicable VAT. Where your currency is not supported, prices are shown in DKK and Stripe may charge you in your local currency at checkout.
- The price you pay can change over time. How that works is set out below.
Price changes
- We may change the price of a subscription. If we do, we will tell you by email to your account address and by a notice in the app at least 30 days before the new price applies to you.
- The new price takes effect at your first renewal on or after that date. It never changes a billing period you have already paid for. On a yearly plan that means you keep your current price until your next yearly renewal.
- If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged again. Staying subscribed past that renewal means you accept the new price.
- Percentage discounts granted to you (for example a beta or friend code) stay attached to your subscription and are applied to the current price.
- We will not raise the price of an existing subscription more than once in any 12-month period.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancel from within the app via your account settings, or by contacting us at support@lifebeat.dk.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until that date.
- Cancelling during a free trial will end your trial immediately with no charge.
- We do not prorate partial billing periods upon cancellation.
4. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with Lifebeat Timekeeper. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Free trial: No charge is made during the 14-day trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid any payment.
- Within 14 days of first charge: If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first subscription charge for a full refund. This is your statutory right under EU/Danish consumer law.
- Subsequent billing periods: Refunds for renewals are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@lifebeat.dk and we will do our best to help.
- Yearly subscriptions: If you cancel a yearly subscription within 14 days of renewal, you are entitled to a full refund of that renewal charge.
To request a refund, email us at support@lifebeat.dk with your account email and the reason for your request.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any connected systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access the Service under a single subscription.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service.
- Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
6. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lifebeat.dk if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lifebeat and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your presets and custom content remain yours. By saving content to the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lifebeat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts. As a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
